The preparations for the fall trade fairs are in full swing, and my new collection "I" is nearing completion. It’s already my ninth collection, and as always, I’m excited to share it with you soon. This time, I’ve developed a new form, which took a lot of love and attention to detail, and admittedly, some headaches as well. I’m particularly proud of a craftsmanship technique that I refined over many hours in close collaboration with artisans. This has resulted in intricate yet simple jewelry pieces. I can't reveal much more at this point…
However, before the new collection is unveiled, the focus is on the Zurich Design Week, which started last week. It offers a variety of exciting events across the city. From September 27 to 29, Maison Shift, where my studio is located, will open its doors for a pop-up boutique featuring designers from Romandy. There’s a diverse program awaiting you, and it’s worth visiting, especially since some designers from the K18a Collective will be showcasing their latest work in the ground floor of our building, Zeughaus 4. The NOV Gallery from Geneva will also be there, offering plenty of amazing people and inspiring spaces to explore.
My studio will also be open during these three days, and I look forward to welcoming many design enthusiasts to the Kasernenareal.
In the next three months, exciting challenges await me as I will be presenting my jewelry at a total of eight design fairs. I’m really looking forward to this inspiring and eventful time. And don’t forget to save the date: October 24, 2024, for the launch of "Kollektion I".
